Dr David Levy
Dr Levy has written several books on diabetes, most recently 'Type 1 diabetes', and 'Practical Diabetes Care, 3rd edition'. He is currently writing an e-book for Type 2 diabetes patients, provisionally titled 'Type 2 diabetes through the looking glass: a guide for geniuses'.
David Levy qualified from Cambridge University and University College Hospital, London.
After general medicine training, he started in endocrinology and diabetes at St Mary’s and Central Middlesex Hospitals, with stints at Oxford and King’s College Hospital. Since then, he’s been a consultant at Whipps Cross University Hospital (now part of Barts Health).

Dr Levy is a specialist in type 1 and type 2 diabetes, adolescent diabetes, lipids, diabetic neuropathy, endocrinology, and general internal medicine.
