Mrs Elaine Lucas

Mrs Lucas is specialised in Orthoptics, adult and paediatric Optometry, and Strabismus - in addition to contact lens fitting, with an emphasis on Keratoconus.
Elaine qualified in Orthoptics in 1986 from Moorfields Eye Hospital and then in Optometry from The City University in 2000.
Since qualifying, she has worked in private practice with consultant ophthalmologists specialising in refractive surgery, corneal diseases (including Keratoconus) and cataract surgery. Her practice, Elalucas contact lenses, specialises in contact lens fittings for Keratoconus.
Elaine is a member of the General Optical Council (GOC) and the British Contact Lens Society, and in May 2012 she was awarded a fellowship of the British Contact Lens Association.
Elaine has now taken over from Barry Holland at the BMI Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor. She works there bi-monthly on Wednesdays and can be contacted for appointments via email or using the contact form on London Medical’s website.
