Dr Ramia Mokbel is a consultant dermatologist with a special interest in skin cancer at St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in London where she is also an honorary senior lecturer at Imperial College, London.
Dr Mokbel completed her dermatology training at Barts NHS Trust and the Royal Free Hospital in London, and at The Royal Exeter Hospital in Devon. Dr Mokbel was awarded a distinction in Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology at Queen Mary University of London in Jul 2012.
She also received her medical training at a number of big teaching hospitals including John Radcliffe, Royal Berkshire, London Chest and Royal London hospitals. Dr Mokbel was appointed as a clinical research fellow in oncoplastic breast surgery (2004-2006) at St George’s hospital in London, where she released a number of important publications.
Dr Mokbel has a special interest and expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. She is highly skilled in the assessment of suspicious moles and lesions using the most advanced dermoscopy skills and offers a full body mole mapping service. She also provides biopsy and skin surgery, where necessary.
Dr Mokbel’s other clinical interests include the management of acne and rosacea, psoriasis and eczema in both adults and children.
