Diabetes Insights Day Recap

Following the success of our London Diabetes Centre insights day, we wanted to share some of the information and highlights that were captured live on the day. Our experts had a whole lot to say!

Rest assured there’ll be more to come: we’ll be recapping more on Twitter and Facebook next week, and creating new blogs for you to read here on our website. Please head over to the new London Diabetes Centre website too, which launched last week.

If you have any questions, feel free to get in touch on Twitter or Facebook or if you think your question requires direct consultation with one of our experts, book an appointment here.

We captured a lot of the talks live via video streams so that people could tune in if they couldn’t make it to our clinic. These videos are all available on Twitter under the hashtag #DiabetesInsights.

The experts led discussions centred around diabetes with topics such as exercise, foot monitoring and care, blood glucose self-measurement and counting carbohydrates, proteins and fats for effective dieting.

Interesting insights, facts and statistics were posted live throughout the day to our Twitter and Facebook pages; make sure to follow us to catch more interesting information as we release it.

As well as talking about leading research and useful information for living with diabetes, our experts delved into their progressive thinking and their approach to treating diabetes at London Medical where there is an emphasis on treating every patient as an individual, ensuring a healthy lifestyle balance whilst living with the disease and ensuring each patient gets tailor-made treatment.

Whether you suffer from type 1 or type 2 diabetes, or perhaps you care for a person who does, we hope that our new London Diabetes Centre website offers you joined-up thinking about your health and wellbeing.

Stay tuned for more from the Diabetes Insights Day.
