A new Easylog disposable pen monitor, that fits on most common pen injectors, used to deliver insulin and GLP1 agonists, has just been passed for use in the EU. The Easylog device, transfers the data on dose and time and date delivered, to a user’s smart phone for review at any time. This information is really useful for doctors, and nurses caring for diabetes patients and helps to understand the influence of insulin dosing and stacking to a patient’s glucose readings. The device also provides useful visual and audio reminders of when injections are due and warns if it thinks a double dose is being administered by mistake.
