6 Fellows of other Royal Colleges
One of our consultants has the exceptional distinction of being a Fellow of the Royal Society.
Between them our consultants have been awarded 41 research doctorates, and many remain heavily involved in leading edge medical and scientific research, bringing the benefits to London Medical patients.
No fewer than 9 of our consultants are Professors holding Chairs at leading universities, and many have received prizes and accolades from around the world for their clinical achievements.
All of these distinguished clinicians have chosen to practise at London Medical, not least because of the outstanding quality of our supporting team: our specialist consultant dietitians; our expert ophthalmologists, who have authored research papers in peer-reviewed journals; and our specialist diabetes and cardiac nurses, each with substantial clinical experience.
Consultants
Dr Teng-Teng Chung
Consultant endocrinologist, manages both general and specialist endocrinology conditions which focuses on thyroid, adrenal and pituitary disorders.
Mr Daren Hanumunthadu
Consultant Ophthalmologist with a specialist interest in retinal diseases, inflammatory eye disease and cataract surgery.
Dr Shouvik Haldar
Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at the Royal Brompton and Harefield Hospitals with a specialist interest in the management of patients with abnormal heart rhythms.
Professor Ali Ghoz
Mr Ali Ghoz is an Honorary Professor of Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery, specialising in minimally invasive hip and knee surgery. He has a specialist interest in complex hip and knee surgery with an emphasis on computer-guided surgery.
Dr Sunit Godambe
Consultant neonatologist and paediatrician. Interests include care of newborns and dealing with problems in children in early years of life.
Mr Samir Jivanjee
Optometrist with a special interest in glaucoma, uveitis and a focus on specialist contact lens fittings.
Mrs Heba Massri
Physiotherapist with expertise in women’s health and the rehabilitation of musculoskeletal conditions along with pain management, integrating manual therapy techniques among others.
Alex Obradovich
Alex is a physiotherapist, specialising in sports medicine, postural retraining, orthopaedic rehabilitation and medical acupuncture.
Renomee Porten
An experienced cardiac physiologist with a vast experience in echocardiogram Doppler test.
Professor Kausik Ray
Consultant preventative cardiologist, specialising in diabetes, lipids, glucose, hypertension and cardiometabolic traits.
