About Mr Ho

Mr Ho is a consultant ophthalmologist and vitreoretinal surgeon with sub-specialty interests in medical retina and vitreoretinal surgery at Prince Charles Eye Unit Windsor and Honorary Consultant Ophthalmologist at Western Eye Hospital, London

He grew up in Singapore, was educated at Westminster School London and after gaining a first class intercalated honours degree in Immunobiology, Mr Ho graduated second in his year at Imperial College School of Medicine with Distinction. He undertook his ophthalmology residency training in London at Moorfields and the Western Eye Hospitals, followed by subspecialty vitreoretinal fellowship training at St Thomas’ and Western Eye (Imperial).  He is a keen surgical trainer of both fellows and registrars and is a member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists microsurgical skills training faculty and the examination panel.

Mr Ho is a member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Microsurgical Skills Training Faculty and the Examination Panel. He maintains a keen interest in charitable work, having worked with the Orbis Flying Eye Hospital project in Vietnam. Outside work he enjoys hiking, travelling around Europe and quizzes, having been on the Imperial Medics University Challenge Team.

Mr Ho takes pride in providing the best possible and personal care for all his patients and is both an expert cataract and retinal surgeon and an ophthalmic specialist who has a calm, friendly, kind and holistic approach to healthcare and is keen to ensure his patients are treated in the most efficient, timely and accurate manner.
