About Mr Dowler

Mr Jonathan Dowler undertook his Higher Professional Training, Research Fellowship, and Doctoral Thesis at Moorfields Eye Hospital. He was a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Moorfields Eye Hospital from 1998-2012. He has also held posts of Clinical Director and Staff Governor at Moorfields Eye Hospital.

Mr Dowler was one of the first in the UK to administer intravitreal Avastin and Lucentis for patients with macular degeneration, and macular oedema in retinal vein occlusion – and he continues to see large numbers of patients with these conditions.
